Richard Rowe retired from Honeywell - the US-based global technology company - in 1999 where he had held the position of General Manager of three of the company’s largest sales divisions. After leaving Honeywell, he was appointed President of MCMS, an $800M contract manufacturer sold to Plexus in 2001. Rowe later started SafeView, a company that designs and builds millimeter wave security portals in use at airports across the globe. The company was sold to L3 in 2006. Rowe is currently co-owner of SeaPoint, a start up based in Hong Kong and China that specialises in LED lighting, digital display, and management software technology for commercial buildings, malls, and hospitality. Rowe received a BS in Engineering from the US Military Academy, a Masters in Engineering from George Washington University, and graduated from Business Executive Programs at both Harvard and Carnegie Mellon. Rowe holds 10 US patents.
